Feel free to apply!Job Summary: Capital Work in Progress (CWIP) Management: 1.Track and monitor all capital projects from initiation to completion. 2.Ensure that all costs associated with CWIP are accurately recorded and capitalized. 3.Work with project managers to ensure timely completion of projects and transfer to fixed assets. 4.Prepare and present CWIP reports to management, highlighting project status, costs, and variances. 5.Review and approve capital expenditure requests, ensuring compliance with company policies and budgets. Invoice Processing and Payment: 1.Ensure timely and accurate processing of vendor invoices related to purchases. 2.Verify that invoices match POs and delivery receipts before payment approval. 3.Reconcile vendor accounts to ensure all purchase-related transactions are accounted for. Purchase & Expense Processing and Recording: 1.Coordinate with procurement and warehouse teams for timely billing and invoice processing. 2.Monitor and record inventory transactions including receipts, transfers, and stock adjustments. 3.Perform periodic inventory audits and reconciliations with physical stock. 4.Prepare reports on purchases, inventory aging, and vendor outstanding. 5.Review, verify, and process employee expense reports, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures. 6.Record and categorize expenses in the accounting system accurately and in a timely manner. 7.Ensure that all expenses are supported by appropriate documentation and authorization. 8.Manage corporate credit card reconciliations, ensuring that all transactions are accurately recorded and reconciled. Vendor Account Reconciliation: 1.Perform regular reconciliations of vendor statements to company records to ensure accuracy. 2.Identify, investigate, and resolve discrepancies between vendor statements and the company’s accounts payable ledger. 3.Prepare detailed reconciliation reports and present findings to management. 4.Work with vendors to resolve any outstanding issues or disputes related to account balances. Qualifications: Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field. Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in accounting, with a focus on purchase accounting or accounts payable. Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices, particularly related to procurement and inventory management. Technical Skills: Proficient in accounting software and ERP systems (e.g. ERP Next). Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including the use of pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, and other data analysis tools. Experience with procurement and inventory management systems is a plus.
