Job Title:SMSF Accountant Location:Vadodara Work Hours:7:30 AM to 4:30 PM (Monday to Saturday) Week Offs:1st, 3rd, and 5th Saturday offJob Overview: We are seeking a skilled and detail-orientedSMSF Accountantwith experience in self-managed superannuation funds (SMSFs). The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing financial statements and tax returns, conducting audits in compliance with the SIS Act and the Income Tax Act of Australia, and liaising with clients and regulatory authorities.Key Responsibilities: PrepareFinancial StatementsandTax Returnsfor SMSFs in accordance with theSIS ActandAustralian Income Tax Act . PerformSMSF auditsto ensure compliance with legislative requirements and prepare relevant audit reports and letters. Report anySIS Act contraventionsto the ATO that may impact members or beneficiaries of the fund. Provide trustees withManagement LettersorAudit Finalisation Reports , highlighting audit findings and recommending improvements. PrepareBusiness Activity Statements (BAS)including GST returns. Conduct in-depthresearch on technical and legislative issues . Handleend-to-end client work , including compliance and tax planning. Advise clients onSMSF administration and operational matters , such as fund establishment, trustee/member additions, and asset valuation. Provide guidance onin-house asset rules , and advise on contribution limits in light of changes to superannuation guarantee levels. Managefund transfers or rolloversinto or out of SMSFs, post client decision. Communicate withATO, ASIC, and OSRregarding various client matters including tax, audits, and SMSF issues.Education & Qualifications: ACCA, Inter CA (not pursuing further studies), CMA Inter, CMA Final (not pursuing further studies) or other relevant accounting qualifications. BCom/MCom candidates with relevant experience or additional qualifications may also be considered.Experience: Minimum1 year of SMSF experienceis required. Proven background inaccounting, auditing, and taxation .Skills: Stronganalytical, organizational , andproblem-solvingabilities. Good to average communicationskills are essential. Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities effectively.
