Job ObjectiveSpecialized procurement role for fabrics in armor business. The role will entail sourcing, testing of fabrics and vendor development of the suppliers.Execution Support Outer cover designer team in sourcing of fabrics for specific needs. Prepare purchase list from BOM and filter out the materials needed for procurement. Create order request for purchase. Negotiation and continuous communication with supplier for timely supply. Work towards cost improvement of products by continuous improvement in material selection of fabric. Vendor development of suppliers. Responsible for timely completion of all tender and BD projects where procurement is required Testing of new fabrics from vendors.Job SpecificationsQualification Min. qualification required B.Tech Graduate- TextileOther desired qualifications Prior experience in sourcingRelevant Experience Min. no. of years of relevant experience required 2-3 years of sourcing experience.Knowledge and Skills Required Vendor development skill Knowledge of NAV Good negotiation skills.
