Principal Engineer - App DevelopmentPosition: Cloud Network Engineer Experience: 8 – 10 YearsShift Timings: 3:30 PM IST to 12:30 AM IST . Work Mode – 3 days from Office, 2 days from home Location – Orbit by Auro, Raidurg, Hyderabad.Please share your profiles with and Job Summary: The Principal Engineer of Application Development is be responsible for the design, development, testing, implementation and post support of applications. The Principal Engineer plays a large role in the technical support and development in PL/ SQL while providing mentorship to other team members. The role also interprets and translates business specifications into technical specifications while making technical recommendations on designs as well as technical improvements.Recognized expert who anticipates business challenges and drives process, product, and service improvements. Handles complex, abstract tasks requiring integration of diverse functions, industry trends, and policies. Holds high responsibility for budgets, expenditures, and strategic direction, navigating ambiguity with minimal guidance. Leads project teams to achieve key milestones and objectives.Key Responsibilities:●     Determines problems Research, design and develop solutions●     Provide functional and technical guidance, set priorities, develop Proof of Concepts, review work products, and report on team activities.●      Offer strong technical support and hands-on development.●     Implement industry best practices and Proof of Concepts for emerging technologies, ensuring compliance with policies and maintaining proper documentation and quality controls.●     Design robust data structures and processes to resolve data integrity issues across applications, supporting business growth and evolving priorities.●      Analyze and resolve business problems through job schedule research, program logic review, and process design.●     Collaborate with consultants and contractors, review deliverables, and ensure adherence to SDLC, policies, and security standards.Translate business requirements into technical specifications, recommend design improvements, and update user and application documentation.●     Partner with managers and end users to determine optimal IT solutions.Preferred Skills:● Experience developing, testing and debugging software preferably using SQL/PLSQL, Java,Python and/or Oracle/Postgres back-end.● Experience with one of the Cloud technologies -GCP/AWS/Azure● API Development using Java/Python/NodeJS● Experience in messaging - MQ/Kafka/JMS● Expertise in GCP Cloud Run, Composer, Function /simillar technologies● Academic experience acceptable.Experience: ● 8-10 years of working experience.● Bachelor Degree - Computer Science/Engineering/Information System● Relevant experience with systems software programming. Experienceproviding z/OS systems support and operational experience related toscheduling, monitoring, and facilitating the troubleshooting of productionissues within a mainframe environment.● Ability to multi-task and prioritize work for self and team mates;
