We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Wind Turbine Expert with a strong knowledge and understanding of wind turbine technology including the aerodynamics of turbine blades and the mechanics of gearboxes, generators, power converter and USS transformerKey Responsibilities:Technical Oversight: Manage and coordinate engineering work packages related to wind turbine selection, configurations, and technical requirements across multiple projects.Technology Evaluation: Evaluate and recommend wind turbine technologies based on site conditions, technical viability, statutory compliance, and long-term performance.Standards & Compliance: Ensure engineering designs comply with relevant IS, IEC, IEEE, grid codes, and other applicable standards.Project Development: Conduct feasibility studies and site assessments in coordination with the WRA team to identify optimal turbine placement and sizing.Documentation & Tendering: Prepare technical documents such as RFPs, BOQs, and bid comparisons for pre-bid and post-bid phases in alignment with input from BD, O&M, and engineering teams.Stakeholder Coordination: Work closely with procurement, construction, and quality teams to align strategies, resolve technical queries, and ensure timely execution.Vendor Assessment: Participate in factory visits to evaluate OEMs and assess capabilities, quality processes, and compliance with Engie standards.Design Integration: Collaborate with electrical engineers to ensure seamless integration of turbines into the power grid and SCADA systems.Performance Monitoring: Monitor turbine performance, identify root causes of issues using RCA methodologies, and recommend solutions to optimize generation and availability.Project Execution Support: Review and oversee BOP construction, generator installation, commissioning, and testing to ensure adherence to technical specifications.Maintenance & Reliability: Support O&M teams with technical guidance, prepare SOPs, and ensure proper preventive and corrective maintenance procedures are followed.Training & Knowledge Sharing: Provide training and mentorship to operational and technical teams; stay current on latest turbine technologies and trends.Experience: 10–15 years of relevant work experience in an Turbine manufacturing, Operations, Inspection and Testing
