(Role and Responsibilities) • Lead the SEO efforts for the Entertainment wing of our business. Take ownership of end-to-end SEO activities, including technical SEO, keyword research, competitor monitoring, content updating & reporting. • Work with cross-functional teams across tech, product, editorial, and social to drive up the organic traffic numbers and brand visibility. • Team building, managing team performance, and overseeing day-to-day operations. • Maximize organic traffic growth by establishing a robust SEO target keyword list and working closely with Content and Social teams. • Work with the content team in educating them on the importance of SEO and how to develop content to get more organic traffic. • Work with content leads to co-create content calendars, plans, and strategies while ensuring the same is executed. • Lead the link-building efforts, including strategy and processes. • Create and overlook google analytics dashboards, reports, and key reporting tools, highlighting key areas of important tracking of traffic on and from the website. • Conduct competitor research & analysis, identify gaps, and get it implemented in real-time. • Implementing best SEO practices and the latest Google algorithm updates, reviewing written content for SEO scores, and suggesting inputs based on tool-generated data.Who could you be? Background and Experience: • You must have 7+ years of experience in SEO • You must have a Qualification in Bachelor’s degree from a reputed institution. • You must have a proven record of accomplishment for growth in Data/Product SEO traffic. • You must have a background in News Media. • You should have a decent understanding of multi-lingual content optimization and sound knowledge of HTML and CSS to identify code-based optimization opportunities. • You must be proficient in Search Engine Optimization reporting and analytical tools and web analytics tools such as GoogleAnalytics, • Google Webmaster Tools, SEMRush, , comscore (would be an added advantage). • You must be self-motivated and keep an eye on the latest developments in the area of your work. • You must have excellent leadership skills and decision-making skills. • You must be a team player with a go-getter attitude with a positive mindset motivating the team. • You must have exceptional communication and presentation skills, and good analytical or problem-solving skills. • You must be good at time management and have the ability and accountability to the lead project and team.
