Job Description

A detail-oriented Sales Coordinator contributes to the achievement of sales targets by supporting SalesRepresentatives, coordinating sales activities, and maintaining good customer relationships. SalesCoordinator also provides the necessary support to the field sales, service team and acts as a point ofcontact for technical , sales team and customers ,keeping schedules and providing feedback,documentation and information. This position facilitate the team’s activities inorder to maximize theperformance and long-lasting development of the company. The Sales Coordinator will support salesrepresentatives and coordinate sales-related activities and at times is responsible for selling products.Sales Coordinator Responsibilities:1. Act as the liaison between Customer,Sales Representatives, Sales Engineers, and Operations.2. Provide sales support by assigning quote request to appropriate Sales Engineers or Operationsstaff3. Coordinate with Sales/Service team by managing sales schedules, filing important documents andcommunicating relevant information4. Handling urgent calls, emails, and messages when Sales Engineers are unavailable, answeringcustomer queries, informing them of delays, arranging delivery dates, and scheduling marketingevents.5. Handling orders by phone, email, or mail and checking the orders have the correct prices, discounts,and product numbers.6. Inputting orders, ensuring they are processed according to customer requirements, and ensuring allorders are accurate and delivered on time.7. Follow-up on payments from the customers where the deliveries are completely8. Collaborating with other departments on queries and deliveries are handled efficiently.9. Proactively reach out to existing customers for repeat orders/new orders.10. Developing and maintaining filing systems so as to maintain sales records, prepare reports, andprovide financial information to the finance department.11. Ensure the adequacy/Stock of sales-service related equipment or goods12. Respond to complaints from customers and coordinate for after-sales support with respectivetechnical personnel when requested13. Store and sort financial and non-financial data in electronic form and present reports tomanagement14. Handle the processing of all orders with accuracy and timelinessAdditional responsibilities to be part of JD15. Collaborating with sales, marketing on queries and deliveries are handled efficiently.16. Helping the sales team to improve their productivity by contacting customers to arrangeappointments and ensuring all sales representatives have high-quality, up-to-date support material.17. Generate accurate and timely pricing based on the effective utilization of basic product pricing (simplify)18. Monitor the sales progress, identify shortcomings and propose improvements19. Assist in the preparation and organizing of promotional material or events20. Work with technical staff to understand internal capabilities21. Work on making the company's products and services as attractive to potential customers as possible.22. Ensuring adherence to laws, regulations, and policiesQualifying Criteria’s1. Have a proven track record in successful collaboration across teams, divisions and platforms.2. Computer skills working on tool and Microsoft software including PowerPoint, Word, Excel,and Outlook preferred.3. Strong organization and telephone skills and ability to manage multiple tasks with strictproject/delivery deadlines.4. Ability to work well under pressure and thrive in a fast paced, dynamic environment.5. Strong verbal and writing skills, with ability to service customers and show professionalismwhen dealing with clients6. Strong analytics, strategic and critical thinking skills along with good business judgment abilityto identify, prioritize, and articulate highest impact initiatives.7. Ability to maintain a positive attitude and communicate diplomatically with all clients, viewers,and local representatives.8. Attention to detail and follow through with an understanding of the current industry9. Should be of a Positive work attitude & flexible in approach10. Well-organized & a Team player with high level of dedication11. Proficiency in English and local conversing language(Marathi)12. Must be customer focused and quality driven13. Graduate/Post Graduate in business administration or relevant field, certification in sales ormarketing will be added advantage
