General Job DescriptionThis role involves inspiring both consumers and industry professionals to become advocates for the Flor de Caña brand. As the representative for Flor de Caña in their designated region, the person in this position will build trust with customers, ensure the brand's availability and visibility in key on-premise and off-premise accounts, and drive continuous volume growth. They will consistently identify business opportunities and emerging trends within the area, develop a solid network of influential decision-makers, demonstrate strong negotiation skills, and promote a solution-oriented approach. This role may require evening and weekend work and must be conducted with the highest level of confidentiality and integrity.Key Responsibilities and Duties:Management of the On-Premise Global Program: Responsible for the implementation and oversight of the mixology, hotel bars, and gastronomy venues program, ensuring compliance with established guidelines.Business Opportunity Development: Identify and leverage new opportunities to increase local sales in alignment with commercial and marketing strategies.Staff Training: Lead and execute training sessions for staff at key accounts in both on-trade and off-trade channels to enhance product knowledge and service techniques.Consumer Sampling and Masterclasses: Organize and conduct tasting sessions and masterclasses at key accounts to educate consumers and promote the brand.Client Relationship Management: Establish and maintain strong relationships with on-trade and off-trade accounts, ensuring regular and effective communication to foster loyalty and sales growth.Collaboration with Distributors: Work closely with the distributor's sales force to optimize and generate sales, anticipating opportunities to meet sales objectives.Social Media Strategy: Build and manage a professional community on social media platforms (LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram) to educate, engage, and inspire consumers about the brand.Brand Content Generation: Create content aligned with global guidelines for social media, supporting local and global market initiatives.Event Participation: Attend and manage Flor de Caña’s booth at events, trade shows, and rum festivals, identifying sponsorship and partnership opportunities.Marketing Plan Measurement and Evaluation: Evaluate and measure the impact of the personal marketing plan, reporting results and KPIs through the internal brand ambassador reporting platform, and planning activities in advance.Skills and Abilities:In-depth knowledge of the brand and curiosity about the category and industry.Strong organizational, interpersonal and communication skills.The ability to establish and maintain strong relationships with key contacts both within the business and among the broader consumer group, in both formal and informal settings.Ability to lead and motivate people to achieve individual, team and project results.Champion of new ideas and initiatives; ability to identify new business opportunities and make them a reality.Experience in the luxury market, high-end hotels, or gastronomy is required.Sales-oriented mindset and strong negotiation skills.Experience in mixology and bartending is a plus.
