Job DescriptionJob Summary: We are looking for a skilled and experienced MicroStrategy Developer to join our team as an L3 developer. The ideal candidate will be responsible for advanced development, complex incident investigation, and resolution. The role includes ownership of MicroStrategy dashboards, reports, schema objects, and security layer, along with handling high-priority production issues.Required Skills: Experience Required 6–7 Years Strong experience in MicroStrategy 2021/2020 or later. Proficient in schema design, report and dashboard development, mobile reporting, and security implementation. Good understanding of SQL, data modeling, and data warehousing concepts Experience in incident and problem management in a production support environment. Familiarity with ticketing tools like ServiceNow and Jira. Knowledge of Workstation, scheduling, distribution services, and Intelligent Cube optimization. Ability to debug performance issues using Query Viewer, SQL traces, and Enterprise Manager. Good communication and stakeholder management skills. MicroStrategy certification(s) is a plus. Good to have experience in Snowflake and with Azure. Exposure to Agile/Scrum methodologiesRoles & ResponsibilitiesKey Responsibilities: Development & Enhancements: Design, develop, and maintain MicroStrategy reports, Dossier, dashboards, documents, and cubes. Develop schema objects such as attributes, facts, hierarchies, metrics, filters, and prompts. Optimize report performance and implement best practices. Incident Management (L3 Work): Investigate, analyze, and resolve critical and complex issues raised by L2 teams or business users. Perform RCA (Root Cause Analysis) and provide permanent solutions to recurring issues. Collaborate with DBAs, ETL, and other teams to resolve backend or integration issues. Testing and Validation: Perform unit testing, regression testing, and system integration testing. Validate data accuracy and performance for each release or change request. Collaboration: Work closely with business analysts and end-users to understand reporting requirements. Liaise with the infrastructure and platform team for upgrades, patches, and configuration changes. Documentation & Best Practices: Create and maintain technical documentation including data flows, object definitions, and issue logs. Follow change management and deployment protocols. Continuous Improvement: Proactively identify improvement areas in reporting processes and propose automation or optimization solutions.
