This role encompasses developing and executing comprehensive revenue strategies, cultivating key institutional partnerships, and leading the sales and marketing teams to achieve ambitious growth targets. The CRO will leverage their technical understanding of diagnostic products and market dynamics to identify and capitalize on revenue opportunities. Accountability: Accountable for achieving and exceeding revenue targets across all market segments (exports, OEM, retail, government). Accountable for the development and execution of effective revenue generation strategies and initiatives. Accountable for establishing and nurturing strategic partnerships for outsourced manufacturing and R&D. Responsibility: Develop and implement comprehensive revenue strategies for all market segments. Solicit, develop, and manage relationships with institutional customers and strategic partners. Oversee and guide the Regional Sales Managers (Retail), Digital Marketing team, Inside Sales team, and Government Tender Business teams. Identify and evaluate new market opportunities, including international expansion. Collaborate with R&D and Manufacturing to align product development and production with market demands. Develop and manage pricing strategies across different channels. Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and regulatory changes to identify potential opportunities and threats. Prepare and present regular revenue reports and forecasts to the executive team. Reporting Structure: Reports to: Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Direct Reports: Regional Sales Managers (Retail), Head of Digital Marketing, Head of Inside Sales, Head of Government Tender Business, Strategic Partnership Manager (if applicable). Indirect Reports: Retail Sales Teams, Digital Marketing Specialists, Inside Sales Representatives, Government Tender Team. Key Performance Indicators (KPIs): Overall Revenue Growth Rate (YoY). New Customer Acquisition Rate (across all segments). Growth in Export Revenue. Success Rate of Strategic Partnerships (e.g., signed agreements, revenue generated). Competency Requirements: Technical:Strong technical understanding of rapid diagnostic tests, biochemistry, serology, and diagnostic instruments. Familiarity with manufacturing processes and quality standards. Excellent computer proficiency, including CRM software (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot), data analysis tools, and advanced spreadsheet skills (e.g., Excel, Google Sheets) for sales forecasting, performance analysis, and reporting. Functional:Proven experience in developing and executing successful revenue growth strategies. Expertise in sales management, marketing (including digital), business development, and international market entry. Strong negotiation and relationship-building skills.
