Role Summary:We are seeking a strategic and execution-driven Trade Marketing Manager for our Paper Business to support category growth through impactful trade programs, retailer engagement, and channel activation. This role will be instrumental in bridging the gap between sales and marketing by aligning product, pricing, promotion, and placement strategies with market dynamics.Key Responsibilities:Develop and implement trade marketing strategies to grow the paper category across target markets and customer segments.Collaborate with the category management team to design customer-centric trade promotions and in-store activities.Plan and manage trade schemes, channel partner incentives, and merchandising support programs.Monitor and analyse competitor activities, market trends, and consumer insights to drive actionable outcomes.Work closely with the sales team to ensure timely execution of trade plans and visibility campaigns.Manage the trade marketing budget effectively with clear ROI metrics.Track performance of campaigns through market feedback, sales uplift, and scheme redemption analytics.Build strong relationships with distributors, retailers, and institutional buyers to enhance product reach and positioning.Support new product launches with trade input, visibility planning, and promotional execution.Key Requirements:MBA/PGDM in Marketing or equivalent from a reputed institute.5–10 years of experience in trade marketing or category management, preferably in the paper, packaging, FMCG, or industrial goods sector.Strong understanding of B2B and retail distribution channels.Proficient in data analysis, market research, and promotion performance tracking.Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.Hands-on experience in designing and executing trade campaigns and sales tools.Preferred Attributes:Analytical thinker with a growth mindset.Strong commercial acumen and execution capability.Willingness to travel to key markets across India.
