Role Overview:We are looking for a performance-driven SEO & Digital Content Specialist who can lead our organic growth strategy by enhancing the discoverability and impact of our academic programs, course pages, and thought leadership content. This role will combine strong SEO acumen with a flair for creating engaging digital content and visual assets that drive meaningful user journeys—from awareness to admissions.Key Responsibilities:Search Engine Optimization (SEO):- Lead the end-to-end SEO strategy for academic programs, course pages, blogs, and admissions-related content. - Conduct comprehensive keyword research and competitor analysis tailored to the higher education landscape. - Optimize existing content and support the creation of new high-impact landing pages and blog posts with a clear focus on organic visibility and search intent. - Execute on-page and off-page SEO, including optimization of meta tags, headers, internal linking, and backlink strategy. - Perform periodic technical SEO audits and implement improvements related to crawlability, site structure, schema markup, mobile responsiveness, and Core Web Vitals. - Optimize content for local SEO to increase reach and lead generation for specific programs or geographic regions. - Monitor and report performance metrics such as organic traffic, keyword rankings, CTR, bounce rate, and conversion rate using tools like Google Analytics, Search Console, SEMrush, and Ahrefs. - Stay abreast of search engine algorithm changes and evolving SEO best practices.Content & Visual Design Support:- Collaborate with content writers and academic teams to ensure content is SEO-optimized and user-centric. - Design SEO-enhanced visual assets such as infographics, banners, and promotional graphics that complement written content and boost engagement. - Ensure all digital assets align with the university’s brand guidelines and support the storytelling goals of the institution.Cross-Functional Collaboration:- Work closely with admissions, design, and web development teams to ensure website structure and user journeys are optimized for lead conversion. - Partner with internal stakeholders to identify content gaps, propose solutions, and align marketing initiatives with institutional goals.
