About the Role The role includes hybrid responsibilities covering Business Intelligence and Data Analytics. Business Intelligence: Responsible for improving decision making across the business through the use of data. The role will be to work closely with other areas of the business to understand reporting requirements. Understanding of business processes and analytics Collaborate with business users to understand data and reporting requirements Managing projects and working closely with the wider internal technology team as well as our other departments Prepare and develop reports, presentations and other documents for internal and external audiences Manage and maintain documentation of data definitions, logic, and source systems to improve data transparency. Data Analytics / Data Visualisation: Responsible for creating and managing interactive data visualisations and reports using Microsoft Power BI, Power Apps as well as collecting, processing, and performing statistical analyses on large datasets. Develop and maintain Power BI reports and data pipelines Extract, clean, and analyse data from SQL databases, spreadsheets, and cloud sources (e.g., AWS S3). Ensure report security and access control Monitor data quality and flag anomalies or inconsistencies. Automate processes using tools such as Python and Power Apps Perform analyses on performance to deliver insights to cross-functional teams (e.g., Marketing, Sales, Product, Ops) Skills and Qualifications: 4+ years of data visualisation (Power BI preferred), SQL and Python Experience in digital marketing, e-commerce, or media industries. Experience with database management e.g. backup and recovery, access, security and managing data flows Experience with affiliate marketing Comfort working with internal or external stakeholders to execute reporting requests Familiarity with data integrity best practices and basic database design concepts. Familiarity with cloud platforms e.g. Microsoft Azure, AWS Strong communication, problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities A proactive mindset Location The team works fully remotely, so being able to manage your time and workload is important.
