Job SummaryWe are seeking a knowledgeable and experienced Assistant Professor to join our BBA Aviation Management program. The ideal candidate must hold a Master’s degree in Business Administration (MBA) and have a minimum of 6 years of hands-on experience in the airline industry. The candidate will bring industry insights into the classroom, guide students with practical learning, and contribute to the academic and professional development of the program. Key Responsibilities:Deliver engaging lectures on subjects such as Airline Management, Airport Operations, Aviation Safety, Customer Service, Aviation Law, and Cargo & Logistics.Translate real-world airline operations and managerial practices into effective teaching and learning experiences.Design course materials, assessments, and case studies aligned with current aviation industry standards.Mentor students for internships, projects, and industry placements.Collaborate with industry partners for guest lectures, industrial visits, and knowledge exchange.Participate in departmental academic planning, curriculum development, and institutional activities.Contribute to organizing seminars, conferences, and career development workshops.Engage in faculty development, research, and professional activities related to aviation management. Qualifications:Essential: Master’s degree in Business Administration (MBA), preferably with specialization in Aviation, Airline Management, Logistics, or Operations.Industry Experience: Minimum 6 years of full-time experience in the airline/aviation industry in a managerial or operational role.Strong industry network and knowledge of contemporary aviation trends.Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills. Preferred Qualifications:Experience in academic teaching, training, or corporate education is a plus.UGC NET qualification (optional but desirable for academic advancement).
