Job OverviewWe are seeking a creative and highly motivated Junior Interior Designer to join ourdynamic design team. The Junior Interior Designer will work alongside senior designers and projectmanagers to assist in the conceptualization, design, and implementation of both residential andcommercial projects. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail, a passion for interiordesign, and an eagerness to grow and develop within the industry.__________________________________________________________________________________Key Responsibilities1. Design Development:Assist in creating design concepts and presentations for clients, aligning with their vision andneeds.Collaborate with the design team to produce mood boards, color schemes, and materialpalettes that reflect the project’s aesthetic.Develop 2D and 3D visualizations, layouts, and detailed drawings using AutoCAD, SketchUp,Revit, and other relevant software.2. Client Interaction & Collaboration:Attend client meetings and assist in understanding their preferences, requirements, andfeedback to refine design concepts.Communicate effectively with clients regarding project progress, timelines, and budgetconsiderations.3. Project Execution:Support senior designers in preparing detailed drawings, floor plans, and specifications forconstruction or renovation projects.Assist in sourcing furniture, fixtures, materials, and finishes that align with the project’sdesign vision and client preferences.Coordinate with vendors, suppliers, and contractors to ensure timely delivery of materialsand maintain quality standards.4. Site Visits & Coordination:Participate in site visits to ensure that design specifications are being adhered to and providefeedback to the design team.Assist in managing project timelines, ensuring that all tasks are completed on schedule andto the required standard.5. Administrative & Organizational Tasks:Maintain project files, design documentation, and client records to ensure smooth workflow.Prepare and update reports and design presentations for clients, stakeholders, and internalteam members.__________________________________________________________________________________Skills and QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field.Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, Adobe Creative Suite(Photoshop, Illustrator), and Microsoft Office.Strong understanding of design principles, spatial planning, color theory, and materialsselection.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively ina team.Detail-oriented with strong organizational, time management, and multitasking skills.Ability to adapt to client feedback and work efficiently under tight deadlines.__________________________________________________________________________________Preferred QualificationsPrevious internship or professional experience in interior design or a related field.Knowledge of building codes, regulations, and sustainable design practices.Experience with 3D rendering software (e.g., Rhino, V-Ray) is a plus.______________________________________________________________________Experience Required2-3 years of professional experience in interior design or a related field.
