Job Summary: We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Assistant Professor to join our Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering. The successful candidate will have expertise in VLSI (Very-Large-Scale Integration) and Embedded Systems and will be responsible for teaching, research, and service in these areas. This is a full-time, tenure-track position. Key Responsibilities: Teaching: Develop and teach undergraduate and graduate courses in VLSI, Analog and Digital Chip Design and Embedded Systems Design and deliver lectures, assignments, and laboratory sessions. Supervise student projects, theses, and dissertations. Mentor and advise students on academic and career goals. Research: Conduct cutting-edge research in VLSI and Embedded Systems. Publish research findings in reputable journals and present at conferences. Seek external funding through grant proposals to support research activities. Collaborate with industry and other academic institutions on research projects. Service: Participate in departmental, college, and university committees. Contribute to curriculum development and program accreditation activities. Engage in outreach activities to promote the department and its programs. Provide professional service to academic and industry communities. Other Duties: Stay updated with the latest advancements in VLSI and Embedded Systems. Participate in professional development activities. Perform other related duties as assigned. Qualifications: Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering, Electronics and Communication Engineering, or a closely related field with a specialization in VLSI and Embedded Systems. Demonstrated excellence in teaching and a strong commitment to student success. A proven track record of research and scholarly activities in VLSI and Embedded Systems. Ability to secure external funding for research. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills. Commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion in academia.
