Position Title: Compliance Officer/ Assistant Manager/Sr. Executive Job Location: Ganpat University, Mehsana Job Summary: Ganpat University is seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Compliance Officer/Assistant Manager/ Sr. Executive to ensure adherence to all applicable labour laws, HR statutory requirements, and regulatory obligations. The ideal candidate will have a thorough understanding of employment legislation, statutory compliance, and HR policies, ensuring the University's continued compliance and risk mitigation. Key Responsibilities: Ensure timely and accurate compliance with all applicable labour laws and HR statutory requirements, including but not limited to PF, ESI, Gratuity, Bonus, Minimum Wages, Professional Tax, and Deductions. Maintain up-to-date and accurate documentation for audits, inspections, and internal/external reporting. Liaise with statutory authorities such as Labour Offices, PF and ESI departments for inspections, queries, and timely submission of statutory returns and reports. Monitor and interpret changes in labour and employment legislation; provide timely updates and recommendations to the HR team to align University policies with regulatory changes. Assist in the development and revision of HR policies and procedures to ensure legal and statutory compliance. Support the payroll team in executing statutory deductions and ensuring timely filings and deposits of statutory contributions. Oversee and manage processes related to registrations, renewals, licenses, and returns under the Contract Labour Regulation Act & Abolishment (CLRA) and other applicable labour laws. Ensure compliance in matters related to compensation and benefits, including management of the full and final settlement process for outgoing employees. Key Skills & Competencies: In-depth knowledge of Indian Labour Laws and statutory compliance requirements. Strong interpersonal and coordination skills for liaison with regulatory authorities. Excellent documentation, analytical, and reporting abilities. Familiarity with HR practices, payroll processes, and compensation structures. Attention to detail and ability to handle sensitive information with integrity. Qualifications & Experience: Bachelor's/Master’s degree in Law, Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field Minimum 5–7 years of relevant experience in HR statutory compliance and labour law management Experience in an academic or institutional environment will be an added advantage
