Job Role: Data Engineer (Pyspark)Job Location: BangaloreExperience- 5 to 10 YearsNotice Period: 0 to 30 DaysJob Summary:We are looking for a seasoned PySpark Developer with over 5 years of experience in big data technologies and a strong background in working with the Cloudera Data Platform (CDP). The ideal candidate will be responsible for building and optimizing scalable data pipelines and ensuring efficient data processing across distributed systems.Key Responsibilities:- Design, develop, and maintain large-scale data processing applications using PySpark on the Cloudera platform. - Work with HDFS, Hive, Impala, and HBase within the Cloudera ecosystem. - Optimize Spark jobs for performance and resource utilization. - Collaborate with data architects, analysts, and business stakeholders to understand data requirements. - Implement data quality checks and ensure data governance compliance. - Monitor and troubleshoot data pipelines in production environments. - Leverage Cloudera Manager for cluster monitoring and job performance tuning. - Integrate data pipelines with cloud storage or on-premise data lakes.Required Skills:- 5+ years of hands-on experience in PySpark and Apache Spark. - Strong experience with Cloudera Distribution (CDH/CDP). - Proficiency in Python, SQL, and Linux/Unix scripting. - Experience with Hive, Impala, HDFS, and Oozie. - Familiarity with Cloudera Manager, Hue, and Ranger. - Understanding of data lake, data warehouse, and ETL concepts. - Experience with version control systems like Git and CI/CD tools. - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Preferred Qualifications:- Experience with Kafka, NiFi, or Airflow. - Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP). - Knowledge of data security, encryption, and compliance standards. - Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field.If you find this opportunity interesting kindly share your updated profile on shraddha.shende@With below details (Mandatory)Total ExperienceExperience in Pyspark-Experience in Cloudera-Current CTC-Expected CTC-Notice period-Current Location-If you had gone through any interviews in Synechron before?
