We are immediately seeking a meticulous and self-motivated Manual Tester to join our dynamic team at Palriwal Industries. This remote position (within India) offers the opportunity to play a critical role in ensuring the quality, reliability, and performance of our diverse software applications and systems. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail, a strong understanding of QA methodologies, and the ability to work independently to identify, document, and track defects, contributing directly to our ongoing growth and digital transformation.Key Responsibilities:Design and execute comprehensive manual test cases based on functional and non-functional requirements.Perform various types of testing, including functional, regression, integration, system, and user acceptance testing (UAT). Identify, document, and report bugs, defects, and inconsistencies clearly and concisely using defect tracking tools (e.g., JIRA).Collaborate closely with product managers, developers, and other stakeholders to understand project requirements and provide timely feedback.Participate actively in all phases of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), from requirements analysis to post-implementation support.Verify bug fixes and ensure that resolved issues do not introduce new problems (regression testing).Contribute to the continuous improvement of testing processes, methodologies, and best practices.Maintain accurate and detailed test documentation, including test plans, test cases, and test reports.Ensure that all software applications meet established quality standards and business requirements before deployment.Skills & Qualifications:Proven experience (2+ years preferred) as a Manual Tester, QA Tester, or similar quality assurance role.Strong understanding of Software QA methodologies, tools, and processes. Proficiency in creating clear, concise, and comprehensive test plans and test cases. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills with exceptional attention to detail.Experience with defect tracking and test management tools (e.g., JIRA, Azure DevOps, TestLink, or similar).Solid understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).Ability to work independently and as part of a remote team, demonstrating strong self-discipline and time management.Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English, with the ability to effectively communicate technical issues to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.Familiarity with various testing types such as functional, regression, integration, and user acceptance testing.Reliable internet connection and a suitable home office setup for effective remote work.Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is preferred, but equivalent practical experience will be highly considered.
