We are hiring Costing Engineers to join our dynamic team!JOB DESCRIPTION - Costing Engineer ü Capable to do Cost estimates of Parts, Tooling, Jigs & Fixture ü Assessing risks ü Forecasting ü Reviewing proposed schedules ü Implementing best practices ü Performing cost control ü Analyzing variances ü VAVEPreferred Knowledge and Education- BE / B tech: Mechanical / Electrical, having a Bachelors, MBA or Master’s Degree in a Engineering related program help graduates attain Cost Engineering Possesses 10 to 15 years of experience in areas – Location - Pune Cost engineering. Preferable in passenger car segment. (OEM or Tier 1). Must have Good knowledge part, Tool, Jig & Fixture Manufacturing process. Should have actively engaged with engineering function for: Developing new products and Identifying opportunities and Executing VAVE projects. Good exposure in Cost Estimation, import /export duties & taxations, negotiations and supplier assessments is important. Review engineering drawings and specifications with suppliers Ø Define and implement cost management tactics, oversee day-to-day costing activities and develop regional competencies of team and supporting staff. Ø Manage on-going customer relationships and resolve any service issues to ensure customer satisfaction. Ø Ownership of timely delivery of all new programs, Global Line Reviews & Internal Line reviews. Provide leadership and scoping support in assigned categories. Identify best overall business case to customer. Ø Manage broad and deep cost for part, tool & R&D. Ø NPV Analysis. Ø Support to negotiate for the best commercial and technical package for procurement requirements. Ø Collaborate with Global Cost Managers and Global Engineering Teams to support new initiatives
