Job Description

To act as the lead for implementation of HR programs, processes and policies in the plant in line with the talent strategy at BCCL. In addition, the role will ensure efficient running of training and development, talent management, and performance management initiatives for the plant employees. The role will also ensure healthy industrial relations at all plants ensuring zero productivity loss.Key Activities : Implement the Talent strategy for BCCL in the plant Implement the changes in the plant’s organizational design as mandated by the senior management Monitor feedback (of plant employees) on policies and processes and ensure communication of the same to the relevant CoE teams. Partner with HR operations team for seamless service delivery and query resolution as required for plant employees Execute the IR strategy for the plant and maintain harmonious Industrial Relations. Understand the key resource issues and associated requirements to meet both current and future organizational challenges for the plant Assist the L&D and Talent Management CoE in the manpower planning process for plant by furnishing existing data and understanding manpower requirement estimates Support the end-to-end recruitment process of employees in the plant Run the process for identification of capability gaps in functional and managerial areas for the plant Monitor the effectiveness of training programs and share feedback with relevant CoE teams. Ensure effective and timely management of performance management activities including goal setting, mid-year review and end-year review for employees in the plant Govern the Performance Management Process in the plant and ensure that rewards are attributed based on demonstrated performance Administer the recognition programs in the plant Assist the leadership team with the implementation of the career management and succession planning processes Maintain effective liasoning with concerned Govt. Officials and local administration. Create engaged teams at units by driving engagement programs and GPTW index improvement action plan. Lead factory and contractual compliances related to labour laws thereby ensuring BCCL to be a compliant company. Support Operations team in effective implementation of the Manufacturing Excellence program. Execute the initiatives required for increasing the efficiency of business; ensure effective program management in the plant for such initiatives by coordinating with the CoEs Provide continuous improvements and participate in leadership business reviews, and engage with stakeholders on understanding business objectives at an operational level in the plant.Educational Qualification/Other Requirements:12-15 years of relevant experience at a manufacturing plant (preferably FMCG/Consumer Care Industry) managing both HR & IR work areas. Post-Graduate in HR from a reputed/recognized Institute
