Our India based team is seeking Immediate Joiner RPG/iSeries developers to join our growing team in support of our Healthcare and Pharma portfolio! The qualified candidate will have demonstrated experience/interest in both the development and support of software components built in AS/400 technologies.This is a remote/work from home opportunity with IG India- Target working hours for this position will be 2:00pm -10:00pm ist Monday to Friday for this opportunity.The qualified candidate will have the following responsibilities:Develop software components utilizing using RPGIV, RPG Free, DB2/SQL and RPG/ILE programming.Work with Development Team Lead on design and analysis of software, including supporting documentation.Perform testing/Troubleshooting on developed applicationsAs required, work with user community during development and testing phasesAdhere to internal software development standards and change management proceduresExperience creating/maintaining service programs, stored procedures and SQL views.Sound knowledge on troubleshooting real-time job failures.Basic understanding of DDM connections and communication between multiple AS400 partitions.Knowledge of iSeries API's, Data queues, User queues, multithreading, Journaling and IBM iSeries file systems.Ability to handle multiple tasks as well as work well under pressure to meet project deadlines.Conduct code reviews for the deliverables prepared by other team members.Qualifications:Required Qualifications5+ years’ experience and a deep understanding of AS/400 application development3+ years of application development experience in RPG, RPGLE and CL; 1+ Synon2/E (aka COOL 2/E)3+ years of IBMi SQL experience3+ years of recent experience leading projectsPreferred Qualifications7+ years of experience overall5+ Year of Healthcare ExperienceDemonstrated successful completion of several medium to large scope projects; proficiency working on all phases of SDLC and with problem determination and resolution through research and fact finding.Experience with RxClaim or other PBM Adjudication system is highly preferred.Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.
