The ideal candidate will bring deep accounting expertise, especially in streamlining accounting practices thus aligning with business growth. Based in Chennai, the successful candidate will be responsible for leading the finance team based at multiple locations in India, ensuring compliance with statutory regulations, managing budgets, improving internal controls, and supporting strategic decision-making. Key Responsibilities: • Candidates must possess comprehensive experience in all aspects of accounting, including taxation, revenue, accounts payable, banking, and related areas. • Experience in the preparation of financial statements, including both standalone and consolidated accounts. • Experience on handling multiple subsidiaries consolidation and managing international subsidiaries audit from India like UK, Philippines, Germany • Ensure timely and accurate preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with Ind AS. • Monitor internal controls and implement best practices for risk management and compliance. • Managing forex and deciding for forward booking /hedging • Manage cash flow, working capital, and treasury operations efficiently. • Liaise with external auditors, tax consultants, and regulatory bodies (e.g.: FATCA, ROC, RBI, GST, Income Tax). • Oversee statutory compliance including GST, TDS, Income Tax, FEMA, and corporate filings. • Monitor and ensure compliance with FATCA (Foreign Account Tax Compliance Act) rules and reporting obligations, particularly for U.S.-connected transactions and entities. • Ensure compliance with all financial regulations and corporate governance standards.• Oversee payroll, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger functions. • Lead, mentor, and develop the finance and accounting team located at multiple locations • Evaluate and implement financial systems/tools for process improvement and automation. Qualifications: • CA (Chartered Accountant) is mandatory; MBA (Finance) is a plus. • Minimum 15+ years of relevant experience, including at least 3–5 years in a leadership in Accounting or controller role. • Experience in a handling Finance an Accounts in ITES organisations or large SME is preferred. • Strong knowledge of Indian accounting standards, tax laws, and regulatory compliance. • Advanced knowledge of financial software, accounting principles, and financial regulations.
