Birlasoft is hiring for Windchill Administration.Position OverviewWe are seeking a highly skilled and experienced PTC Windchill System Administrator with Linux L4 expertise to join our dynamic IT team. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of PTC Windchill, extensive experience in Linux system administration, and a strong ability in scripting and problem-solving. This role involves maintaining and optimizing our PTC Windchill environment, ensuring seamless integration and performance across our systems.Key ResponsibilitiesAdminister and maintain PTC Windchill systems, ensuring optimal performance and availability.Manage and troubleshoot Linux servers, utilizing L4 level expertise to address complex issues.Develop and maintain scripts to automate system processes and enhance functionality.Perform regular system updates, patches, and configuration changes to ensure security and stability.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate PTC Windchill with other enterprise systems.Monitor system performance and resource utilization, implementing proactive measures to prevent downtime.Provide technical support and guidance to end-users, resolving issues promptly and efficiently.Document system configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting steps for future reference.Qualifications and RequirementsBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.Minimum of 5 years of experience as a PTC Windchill System Administrator.Expertise in Linux system administration, with L4 level proficiency.Strong scripting skills (e.g., Bash, Python, Perl) to automate tasks and solve complex problems.In-depth knowledge of PTC Windchill architecture, configuration, and customization.Experience with system monitoring tools and techniques.Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues.Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, to interact with team members and stakeholders.Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.Relevant certifications (e.g., PTC Windchill, Linux) are a plus.Preferred SkillsExperience with cloud-based infrastructure and services.Knowledge of database management and SQL.Familiarity with DevOps principles and practices.Understanding of network protocols and security measures.
