Job Summary:We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Software Test Engineer with 2 to 5 years of experience in manual and/or automated testing. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and executing test plans to ensure the quality and functionality of software applications across web, mobile, and backend systems. Key Responsibilities: ● Develop and execute detailed test plans, test cases, and test scripts based on product requirements. ● Perform functional, regression, integration, system, and user acceptance testing. ● Identify, document, and track bugs through to resolution using tools such as JIRA, Bugzilla, or similar. ● Collaborate with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to understand requirements and resolve issues. ● Participate in sprint planning, reviews, and daily stand-ups (Agile/Scrum teams). ● Maintain and enhance test automation frameworks (if applicable). ● Generate test reports and metrics for internal and external stakeholders. ● Continuously identify areas for process improvement in the QA lifecycle. Required Skills & Qualifications: ● Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. ● 2–5 years of professional experience in python and software testing. ● Strong understanding of software testing methodologies (STLC, SDLC). ● Experience with test case management and bug tracking tools like Jira and UBS. ● Familiarity with automation tools such as Selenium, TestNG, JUnit, or similar (nice to have) karma, cypress. ● Exposure to CI/CD pipelines and tools like Jenkins, Git, or similar. ● Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills. ● Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Preferred Qualifications: ● Experience testing APIs using Postman, SoapUI, or similar tools. ● Knowledge of SQL and ability to write queries for data validation. ● ISTQB or equivalent certification is a plus. ● Experience in performance or security testing (nice to have).
