This individual will serve as a trusted advisor to prospective clients, leveraging deep cybersecurity and DLP expertise to drive solution adoption. You will collaborate closely with Sales, Product, and Engineering teams to deliver compelling product demonstrations, design custom DLP architectures, and respond to RFPs. The ideal candidate has excellent client-facing communication skills, deep technical knowledge of leading DLP solutions, and a strong understanding of data security and compliance.Key ResponsibilitiesPartner with Sales to engage clients, gather requirements, and provide tailored DLP solutions.Deliver technical presentations, demos, PoCs, and workshops to support the sales process.Design DLP architectures and integration plans for enterprise environments.Prepare technical documentation, responses to RFPs/RFIs, and contribute to proposals.Stay current on DLP products, cybersecurity trends, compliance regulations, and threat landscapes.Collaborate with Product and Engineering to communicate client feedback and suggest improvements.Ensure smooth hand-off from presales to post-sales/implementation teams.Required QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Cybersecurity, or a related field.7–10 years of experience overall, including 3+ years in pre-sales/technical consulting focused on cybersecurity/DLP.Hands-on knowledge of at least two DLP tools (e.g., Microsoft Purview DLP, Symantec, Forcepoint, McAfee, Digital Guardian).Understanding of data classification, endpoint/cloud DLP, and regulatory frameworks (GDPR, HIPAA, PCI DSS).Strong communication and presentation skills with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.Exposure to adjacent technologies like SIEM, CASB, IAM, and endpoint security.Design and propose DLP architectures and integration strategies.Preferred QualificationsCertifications: CISSP, CISA, CISM, CEH, or vendor-specific DLP certifications.Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and integrating DLP tools with cloud environments.Familiarity with PowerShell, Python, or other scripting languages for automation or customization.
