This isn't just another BDR role; you’ll be instrumental in building our sales pipeline from the ground up. You'll be responsible for identifying and qualifying potential clients, sparking initial engaging conversations, and generating high-quality leads. This role is perfect for a highly motivated, articulate, and energetic individual who is passionate about AI and cloud technologies, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and is excited by the opportunity to directly contribute to the success of an early-stage startup.Key Responsibilities:Pioneering Prospecting: Creatively research, identify, and qualify potential clients and key decision-makers in our target markets who are ready to embrace AI-driven cloud optimization.Dynamic Outreach: Initiate and manage outbound campaigns using personalized emails, strategic cold calls, LinkedIn networking, and other innovative engagement tactics.Value Evangelism: Clearly and enthusiastically articulate FairCloud AI’s unique value proposition, showcasing how our AI-powered solutions solve critical cloud cost and infrastructure challenges.Insightful Qualification: Engage prospects in meaningful initial conversations to uncover their current cloud strategy, pain points, and business goals, ensuring a strong fit for our solutions.Data-Driven Approach: Meticulously track all activities, prospect interactions, and lead statuses in our CRM, helping us refine our processes as we grow.Agile Collaboration: Work closely and agilely with our founding/core sales and marketing team to develop and iterate on lead generation strategies and messaging.Be Our Eyes & Ears: Stay ahead of industry trends, competitor movements, and evolving client needs, sharing insights that help shape our offerings.Own Your Impact: Meet and exceed ambitious monthly/quarterly targets for qualified leads and meetings booked, knowing your efforts are crucial to our collective success.Required Qualifications:Experience: 0-2 years of experience in a business development, sales, lead generation, or customer-facing role. A genuine hunger to kickstart a career in tech sales is key.Communication Skills: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills – you can craft compelling messages and connect with people authentically.People Person: Strong interpersonal skills with an innate ability to build rapport and trust quickly.Tech Curiosity: A genuine interest in and ability to quickly grasp technology concepts, particularly AI, cloud computing (AWS, GCP, Azure), and SaaS solutions. You don’t need to be an expert, but you need to be eager to learn and talk about it.Startup DNA: Highly motivated, proactive, and a true self-starter with an entrepreneurial spirit.
