Job Title: Area Sales Manager (MT & Shop in Shop - SIS)Location: BangaloreExperience Required: 2+ YearsIndustry: Toy/Babycare/Product BasedDepartment: SalesJob Type: Full-TimeKey Responsibilities:Sales & Revenue Growth:• Achieve monthly and quarterly primary and secondary sales targets across SIS and MT stores.• Monitor store-level performance and ensure consistent growth across all counters. • Implement and track promotional strategies to drive footfall and conversion.Retail Store Management:• Ensure smooth operations across all SIS and MT counters, including merchandising, stock hygiene, andplanogram adherence.• Identify and finalize new SIS/MT store opportunities in collaboration with key retail partners.• Ensure 100% product availability and minimize stock-outs through proactive stock planning.Retail Partner & Store Relations:• Maintain strong relationships with store managers, category teams, and buyer-level contacts at MT chainsand SIS locations.• Resolve operational issues and ensure alignment with retail partner expectations.• Conduct regular market visits to ensure execution standards.Team Management:• Manage store promoters and in-store staff.• Track and review team performance against defined KPIs.• Ensure adherence to standard operating procedures (SOPs) and customer service protocols.Marketing, Promotions & Visual Merchandising:• Execute brand promotions, new product launches, and visibility campaigns in line with marketing plans.• Coordinate with the VM team to ensure branding consistency and premium look & feel across alltouchpoints.Data & Reporting:• Monitor sales data, footfall, and sell-through to provide actionable insights.• Share weekly/monthly reports with leadership on target achievements, challenges, and plans.• Provide market intelligence and competitor benchmarking.Key Requirements:• Graduate in Business/Marketing or related field MBA preferred.• 2–6 years of relevant experience in SIS, Modern Trade, or retail sales.• Strong network and knowledge of key MT chains• Excellent communication, negotiation, and team leadership skills.• Proficient in MS Excel and reporting tools.• Willing to travel extensively across the assigned territory.Preferred Experience:• Background in FMCG, apparel, toys, consumer durables, or lifestyle categories.• Prior experience managing both SIS and MT formats is a strong advantage.
