Role Overview:We’re looking for a senior-level DevOps engineer to take the lead on building and scaling secure infrastructure in the AWS cloud. This role is critical to ensuring our applications and data workflows are deployed, monitored, and operated efficiently. The ideal candidate will have strong computer science fundamentals, deep expertise with Linux systems, and hands-on experience with scripting and cloud infrastructure.Key Responsibilities:Collaborate with engineering to design and manage scalable AWS infrastructure.Own deployment automation and infrastructure-as-code initiatives.Manage Linux environments, DNS, load balancing, and system monitoring.Drive improvements in system stability, security, and visibility.Support CI/CD pipelines and ensure reliable software delivery.Key Requirements:4+ years of experience in DevOps.Strong computer science fundamentals and proven programming skills.Expertise with Linux environments.Experience with AWS or similar cloud platforms.Knowledge of security best practices.Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines.Proficiency in scripting (Bash or Ruby preferred).Excellent communication and collaboration skills.Preferred Qualifications:Experience with data workflows or ETL pipelines.Familiarity with JavaScript build systems.Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field; Master’s or Ph.D. holders are also encouraged to apply.
