Job Description for Financial Controller Position: Financial Controller (Group level role) Exp: 10+ yrs Location: Coimbatore, Travelling involved CTC: 25-28LPA Qualification: Regular master’s degree in finance or equivalent / Candidate with CA-Intern will be added advantage Position Necessity: Immediate / Max 30 day’s timeResponsibilities: ∙ Group company accounting ∙ Budget preparations and tracking of budgets ∙ Monthly reports – from MIS to MRM ∙ Statutory compliance ∙ Consolidation of financial accounts o Listed o Private o Others ∙ Board meeting preparation ∙ Coordination with internal and statutory auditors ∙ Local coordination and liaison with authorities from GST to all others to be defined ∙ Finalizing banking related statements like CMA, Stock statements, FFR, etc ∙ Manage all accounting operations including billing, payroll, A/R, A/P, GL and counsel, cost accounting, inventory accounting, and revenue recognition. ∙ Coordinate and direct the preparation of the budget and financial forecasts and report variances. ∙ Analyze financial data. ∙ Prepare and publish timely monthly financial reports. ∙ Coordinate the preparation of regulatory reporting. ∙ Research technical accounting issues for compliance. ∙ Support month-end and year-end close processes. ∙ Manage cash flow. ∙ Stakeholder management. ∙ Debt management and collection. ∙ Ensure quality control over financial transactions and financial reporting. ∙ Manage and comply with local, state, and government reporting requirements and tax filings. ∙ Develop, document, and monitor business processes and accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal controls. ∙ Supervise and prepare income statements. ∙ Suggest updates and improvements for accounting systems, Manpower costing and invoicing.Candidate Profile: ∙ Good communication skills. ∙ Excellent interpersonal skills. ∙ Strong leadership qualities. ∙ Sound knowledge of accounting fundamentals. ∙ Minute attention to details ∙ Auditing experience. ∙ Proven experience in finance management. ∙ Compliance oriented. ∙ Understanding of data privacy standards. ∙ Proficiency in accounting software. ∙ Analytical skills. ∙ Participant in a CPA (Certified Practicing Accountants) or CA (Chartered Accountants) program.
