Extramarks Education, India’s largest Ed-tech is looking for an experienced professional to handle our company’s procurement activities. One should have a Deep knowledge of inventory and supply chain management. Should have an experience of procuring both IT and Non-IT equipment, software, items of daily requirement and an added preference will be given to those candidates who have worked with OEMs directly and have good understanding of Delhi-NCR markets. He/ She will have experience in independently leading a team of Supervisors and staff.Roles and ResponsibilitiesThe right candidate will be responsible for procuring the required items for the company. The scope of responsibilities will be:- Managing daily purchasing activities. - Managing supplier relations and negotiating contracts, prices, timelines, etc. - Maintaining the supplier database, purchase records, and related documentation. - Ensuring that all procured items meet the required quality standards and specifications. - Preparing cost estimates and managing budgets. - Working to improve purchasing systems and processes.Requirements:- B-tech/BCA/MBA - Proven experience working as a Vendor Manager - Prior experience in an edtech/e-learning space is a plus - Proficiency in Microsoft Office and purchasing software for PO creation. - Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. - Strong critical thinking and negotiation skills.
