Walmart offers Indian manufacturers, brands and other potential online sellers an opportunity to expand their business internationally as cross-border sellers on Walmart Marketplace (Cross Border Trade), where they could reach a growing market of more than 120 million U.S. consumers each month. This is part of Walmart’s efforts to expand its sourcing from India to $10 billion a year by 2027.We are seeking an experienced Manager to join our Walmart India Cross Border Trade team to build and scale the function of Walmart Connect for our group.Walmart Connect is a powerful retail media platform offering brands a unique opportunity to reach millions of shoppers. Its omnichannel reach and targeted advertising capabilities make it a valuable tool for enhancing brand visibility, driving sales, and building customer loyalty. The role holder will help shape the future of online shopping, while working with super-talented people in an environment that values partnership and transparency.Key Responsibilities- Hire and develop a team of early-career sales professionals to support Key accounts and newly activated Marketplace sellers - Shape the business strategy for supporting and growing WMC advertisers and helping them succeed on our Marketplace - Identify and address key issues impacting sellers’ performance and experience with WMC sponsored products - Act as a liaison between India sellers and business teams in the Marketplace Solutions to support key initiatives that allow India sellers to leverage the Walmart Connect competitive advantage - Create and refine business processes that improve productivity and overall throughput of the sales team - Optimize Ad performance and processes leading up to it to drive KPIs/KRAs on a regular basis on the IN CBT team - Work with the Director & Senior leadership to deliver on the vision of WMC & International Marketplace through partnership with the business development, account management, product & enablement teams - Building collaborative relationships with key partners by driving priorities aligned to business goals, communicating, and prioritizing product roadmaps and gaining buy-in from executive leadership - Leadership support in introducing new performance measures, processes, and systems to achieve operational excellenceBasic Qualifications- MBA or MBA equivalent post-graduate degree - 5+ years of relevant ecommerce retail experience/ experience of digital media sales with hands-on experience in building and managing high-performing teams - Proven track record of driving revenue growth with emerging opportunities and established partnerships - Advanced MS office skills (Power Point, Excel, Word, Outlook) - Good communication and presentation skills, with the ability to translate insights, product information, and data into client value - Ability to prioritize work in a complex, fast-paced environment and work with cross-functional teamsPreferred Qualifications- Strong understanding of advertising technology and data/performance measurement trends - Global retail media experience is a bonus - Experience in cross border e-commerce landscape - Program/Project management certifications if any - Advanced analytical and data interpretation
