General Manager - Quality (Commercial Vehicles Seating and Interiors)- IndoreReports To: Executive DirectorRole- Quality Head - Responsible for developing, implementing, and managing quality control,systems and strategies to ensure the highest quality standards in the manufacturing and assemblyof automotive interiors, seating systems, and specialty vehicles.Key Responsibilities: -1. Process Excellence & Quality Controlo Conceptualize and lead the quality management strategy aligned with business objectives.o Align process & product quality strategies across the value chain to meet business needs.o Set direction for Total Quality Management (TQM), Total Productive Maintenance(TPM), Six Sigma, and Sustainable Development initiatives.2. Process Management & Quality Improvemento Lead quality interventions such as TQM, TPM, Six Sigma, PFMEA, IATF, ISO 14001, ISO18001, and Control Plans.3. Functional Leadership- Ensure communication and monitor compliance with company policies,and quality standards. o Develop a periodic review process to incorporate new ideas and technologies in QMS.o Manage customer interactions and visits to understand customer expectations andensure alignment with quality standards.4. People Managemento Lead and manage the quality assurance team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.o Drive T&D programs to enhance the skills and expertise of the quality team.Qualifications: - BE/ ME in Engineering, Mechanical/Automotive /Equivalent. Experience: Minimum 25-30 years of experience in a quality management role within theautomotive seating Systens or specialty vehicle industries.Key Skills & Expertise: Extensive knowledge of international quality standards (e.g., VDA, IATF, JIS). In-depth understanding of manufacturing processes, including injection Moulding, casting,machining, and painting.
