Lamda Components is a leading manufacturer of Aluminum Die casting and .precision machined components. Lamda is looking for a manager for the Aluminum Pressure Die casting department as part of the plan to strengthen the team in order to manage growth.Responsibilities 1.Supporting NPD team for new product development for castings 2.Co-ordinating with Tool vendors to get quotations for new enquiries. 3.Regularly co-ordinating with Die makers and tracking its progress to meet time line targets. 4.Part of technical discussions with customers online/offline 5.Updating Die life and communicating all customers 6.Production plan/Actual in PDC unit (including new product development) 7.Controlling of Raw material 8.Maintaining casting Stock levels 9.Trouble shooting casting defectsQualifications Educational Qualification: - Diploma in Mechanical Engineering /BE mechanical engineering. Experience: - Minimum 5 Years in High Pressure Die casting and Machining of Aluminium components. 1.In depth knowledge of Aluminum High Pressure Die casting and Gravity Die casting process 2.Knowledge of casting defects 3.Should be able to study engineering drawings and analyze casting feasibility. 4.Min knowledge of Die designing in order to communicate with Tool makers 5.Should have knowledge of tooling software, designing process and corrections to meet quality requirements. 6.Strong communication skills as the candidate will be regularly interacting with customers
