Role: Video Editor – Movie Mashups Specialist Location:Mumbai, India Type:Full-Time Experience:5-7 years in video editing with a focus on movie mashups About the Role We are looking for a talented and creativeVideo Editorwith a passion for cinema and a knack for crafting engaging movie mashups. The ideal candidate should have experience editing trailers, fan edits, or thematic compilations using clips from Bollywood, Hollywood, or regional cinema. This role is based inMumbai , working closely with movie rights holders.Key Responsibilities Edit high-quality video content including movie mashups, trailers, highlight reels, and social media clips. Create engaging narratives using movie footage from multiple sources. Sync audio, music, voiceovers, and sound effects to enhance storytelling. Ensure timely delivery of content with high production value. Manage video assets and organize media libraries.Requirements Proven experience as a video editor, especially in film or entertainment. Strong portfolio ofmovie mashups , trailers, or fan edits. Proficiency in tools likeDaVinci Resolve(Mainly),After Effects, Final Cut Pro . Basic knowledge of color grading and audio mixing. Passion for movies and deep understanding of cinematic storytelling. Ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines. Based in Mumbai or willing to relocate.Preferred Skills Experience inYouTube content editingor entertainment channels. Familiarity with copyright and fair use in mashup content. Motion graphics or VFX skills (plus). Knowledge of Bollywood and/or South Indian cinema is a plus. Ability to createdynamic transitions, smooth cuts, and punchy pacingin mashups. Understanding ofgenre-based storytelling(action, romance, horror, etc.) to match mood with music and visuals. Strong eye forvisual composition and rhythm .
