The Production Officer in Algae Process is responsible for overseeing and managing the day-to-day operations involved in the cultivation, harvesting, and processing of microalgae. This includes ensuring adherence to quality standards, optimizing productivity, maintaining equipment, and ensuring compliance with environmental and safety regulations.Monitor and manage algae cultivation systems (e.g. ponds field work) to ensure optimal growth of algae conditions.Oversee harvesting, micro-filtration, centrifuge operation and bio-stimulant processing of algae biomass.Prepare and execute daily production plans & shift schedules.Maintain production logs, batch records, and reports accurately.Perform routine checks and maintenance of equipment used in the algae production process.Implement and enforce standard operating procedures (SOPs) and safety protocols.Collaborate with R&D and Quality Assurance teams to troubleshoot process issues and implement improvements.Conduct training for operators and ensure workforce competency in production tasks.Track inventory of RM, PM and Consumables.Ensure compliance with environmental regulations and waste management guidelines.Involves shift-based duties and extended hours depending on production needs.Use of PPE and adherence to safety protocols is mandatory.Desired Candidate Profile:Bachelor's degree in Chemical Technology / Chemical Engineering / B. Tech (Biotechnology), or a related field. Fresher or 2+ years of experience in a production or manufacturing role.Strong understanding of production processes and quality control measures.Excellent organizational and time-management skills.Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Knowledge of safety and environmental regulations in manufacturing.
