Theirfast-growing highways and roads divisionhas recently securedlarge-scale projects , includinggreenfield and brownfield road infrastructure .Job Summary:The Senior Highway & Infrastructure Construction Expert will be responsible for theend-to-end executionof large-scale highway and infrastructure projects, ensuringdesign excellence, procurement efficiency, implementation effectiveness, and asset management . The role demandsstrong leadershipin challenging terrains, with a keen focus oncost control, quality assurance, and timely delivery . Key Responsibilities: 1. Project Planning & Design: Lead thedesign and engineeringof highways, bridges, culverts, and reservoirs. Ensure compliance withnational and international standardsfor road construction. Conductfeasibility studiesandsite surveysto assess terrain challenges. Developdetailed project plans , including budgeting, scheduling, and resource allocation. 2. Procurement & Contract Management: Overseeprocurement of materials, equipment, and subcontractors . Negotiate and managecontractswith vendors and suppliers. Ensurecost optimizationwithout compromising quality. 3. Construction & Implementation: Superviseon-site executionof highway and infrastructure projects. Implementbest practicesfor construction in tough terrains. Ensurestrict adherence to safety protocolsand environmental regulations. Monitorprogress, quality control, and risk mitigationstrategies. 4. Asset Management & Maintenance: Developlong-term asset management plansfor roads and bridges. Implementpreventive maintenancestrategies to enhance infrastructure longevity. Utilizemodern technologyfor monitoring road conditions and performance. 5. Stakeholder & Regulatory Coordination: Liaise withlocal authorities, government agencies, and regulatory bodies . Ensure compliance withlegal and environmental regulations . Addresscommunity concernsand manage public relations. 6. Leadership & Team Management: Leadmultidisciplinary teamsof engineers, project managers, and site supervisors. Foster aculture of innovation, efficiency, and accountability . Providementorship and trainingto junior engineers. 7. Cost, Quality & Timeline Management: Maintainstrict cost controlto ensure profitability. Implementquality assurancemeasures for durable infrastructure. Ensuretimely project completionwhile managing unforeseen challenges. Qualifications & Skills: Bachelor’s/Master’s degreein Civil Engineering or related field. 25-30 yearsof experience in highway and infrastructure construction. Expertise insurveying, geotechnical analysis, and terrain assessment . Strong knowledge ofconstruction materials, techniques, and equipment . Proven track record inleading large-scale EPC projects . Excellentnegotiation, leadership, and stakeholder managementskills. Familiarity withIndian road construction regulations and global best practices .
