Position: Counsellor Location:Karjat, Maharastra Company:Abhasa Rehab & Wellness Reporting to:Psychologist / Case Manager About the Role: We are seeking a compassionate and dedicatedCounsellorto join our multidisciplinary clinical team. This role involves supporting clients through their recovery journey by offering emotional support, coordinating therapeutic activities, ensuring client well-being, and assisting the psychologist with clinical processes. Key Responsibilities: Conduct daily client rounds with the psychologist and monitor hygiene, behaviour, and concerns. Assist with client admissions, discharges, and coordinate consultations. Lead and participate in group therapy, recreational, and wellness activities. Support during crises, monitor medication compliance, and report concerns promptly. Maintain professional boundaries, client confidentiality, and effective team communication. Submit daily reports and follow assigned tasks diligently. Motivate and accompany clients in scheduled activities and therapies. What We’re Looking For: Degree in Social Work, or a related field. Empathy, strong interpersonal skills, and the ability to remain calm in challenging situations. Previous experience in a mental health or rehabilitation setting is an advantage.
