This dual role requires expertise in cognitive science, technology integration, and human-centered innovation, alongside exceptional skills in student affairs administration and academic program development.Academic Responsibilities Teaching & Research Excellence Graduate Course Development & Instruction: Design and deliver cutting-edge courses in cognitive science applications Develop interdisciplinary programs bridging technology, psychology, and business Lead seminars on human-technology integration and AI ethics Supervise PhD candidates and postdoctoral researchers Research Leadership: Maintain active research portfolio with 70+ peer-reviewed publications Pursue funded research projects in cognitive modeling and predictive analytics Collaborate with industry partners on applied research initiatives Contribute to scholarly books and high-impact academic journals Innovation & Technology Transfer: Develop patentable technologies and intellectual property Lead interdisciplinary research teams across multiple departments Establish industry partnerships for research commercialization Mentor faculty in research methodology and grant writing Student Affairs Leadership Strategic Student Development Program Design & Implementation: Develop comprehensive student support systems and success metrics Create innovative student engagement programs leveraging technology Design experiential learning opportunities connecting academia with industry Implement data-driven approaches to student retention and success Global Engagement & Partnerships: Establish international exchange programs and partnerships Coordinate study abroad initiatives and global immersion experiences Develop relationships with industry leaders for student placement Create alumni engagement strategies and mentorship programs Administrative Excellence Operational Leadership: Oversee student services departments and cross-functional teams Manage budgets and resource allocation for student programs Develop policies and procedures ensuring regulatory compliance Lead crisis management and student support interventions Institutional Leadership Strategic Initiatives Accreditation & Quality Assurance: Lead institutional accreditation processes (AACSB, EQUIS, AMBA) Develop quality metrics and continuous improvement frameworks Represent institution at international conferences and forums Collaborate with external evaluators and peer institutions Innovation & Future-Readiness: Drive digital transformation initiatives in student services Integrate AI and predictive analytics in student success programs Develop sustainability and social impact programming Foster entrepreneurship and innovation ecosystems Required Qualifications Academic Credentials PhD in Cognitive Science, Psychology, or related field Minimum 10+ years of progressive academic experience Demonstrated excellence in research with significant publication record Previous teaching experience at graduate level Patent portfolio or technology transfer experience preferred Leadership Experience 5+ years in senior administrative roles in higher education Proven track record in student affairs or academic administration Experience with international partnerships and global programs Budget management and strategic planning experience Specialized Expertise Deep knowledge of cognitive science and AI applications Experience in healthcare, aviation, or complex systems optimization Familiarity with business school accreditation processes Industry consulting or advisory experience preferred Preferred Qualifications Professional Recognition Board memberships on professional organizations Speaking engagements at major international conferences Advisory roles with government agencies or multinational corporations Recognition through awards or professional honors Technical Skills Proficiency in data analytics and predictive modeling Experience with learning management systems and educational technology Knowledge of regulatory frameworks in education and research Multilingual capabilities preferred
