Responsibilities Please find below the JD for the role:Key Responsibilities: 1.Pre-Move Consultation:Understand the client’s needs, preferences, and requirements for the relocation (e.g., housing, schooling, amenities, etc.). Provide information on the new destination, such as local housing markets, neighborhoods, schools, healthcare, transportation, and cultural differences. 2.Housing Assistance:Assist in finding suitable housing (renting or buying) based on client’s budget and preferences. Coordinate property tours, viewings, and contract negotiations. Provide advice on real estate processes and legal matters. 3.Orientation Services:Offer an orientation to the new city or region, helping clients familiarize themselves with essential services, transportation, and local infrastructure. Provide cultural training, including tips on local customs, language (if applicable), and any societal expectations. 4.Schooling & Education Support:Assist in identifying suitable schools or daycare centers for relocating families. Guide clients through the school application process and help with settling children into the educational system. 5.Logistics Coordination:Help arrange transportation for the move, including setting up moving services, shipping of goods, and temporary housing if necessary. Provide advice on local utilities and other practical matters (e.g., setting up electricity, internet, etc.). 6.Legal and Administrative Guidance:Provide assistance with obtaining necessary documentation (visas, work permits, etc.). Offer guidance on registering with local authorities, healthcare registration, tax issues, and other legal matters tied to relocation. 7.Ongoing Support:Offer continued assistance after the move, checking in to ensure the client is settling in well. Provide support for any emerging challenges during the relocation process.Qualifications Skills and Qualifications: Strong Knowledge of Local Areas: Extensive knowledge of the local area (housing, services, schools, etc.). Communication Skills: Excellent interpersonal skills to build rapport and understand client needs. Problem-Solving: Ability to provide solutions for unique relocation challenges. Multilingual Abilities (Optional): Useful for assisting clients moving internationally or from different cultural backgrounds. Attention to Detail: Ability to coordinate multiple aspects of the relocation process efficiently. Customer Service Experience: A client-focused mindset, providing a high level of service. Desired Background: Good Communication skills in English. Understanding of global mobility, cultural integration. Understanding of demographics of Ahmedabad City Working Environment: The consultant will need to work remotely or on-site, depending on the client’s needs.
