Job Title

The Production Officer in Algae Process is responsible for overseeing and managing the day-to-day operations involved in the cultivation, harvesting, and processing of microalgae. This includes ensuring adherence to quality standards, optimizing productivity, maintaining equipment, and ensuring compliance with environmental and safety regulations.- Monitor and manage algae cultivation systems (e.g. ponds field work) to ensure optimal growth of algae conditions. - Oversee harvesting, micro-filtration, centrifuge operation and bio-stimulant processing of algae biomass. - Prepare and execute daily production plans & shift schedules. - Maintain production logs, batch records, and reports accurately. - Perform routine checks and maintenance of equipment used in the algae production process. - Implement and enforce standard operating procedures (SOPs) and safety protocols. - Collaborate with R&D and Quality Assurance teams to troubleshoot process issues and implement improvements. - Conduct training for operators and ensure workforce competency in production tasks. - Track inventory of RM, PM and Consumables. - Ensure compliance with environmental regulations and waste management guidelines. - Involves shift-based duties and extended hours depending on production needs. - Use of PPE and adherence to safety protocols is mandatory.Desired Candidate Profile:- Bachelor's degree in Chemical Technology / Chemical Engineering / B. Tech (Biotechnology), or a related field. - Fresher or 2+ years of experience in a production or manufacturing role. - Strong understanding of production processes and quality control measures. - Excellent organizational and time-management skills. - Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines. - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. - Knowledge of safety and environmental regulations in manufacturing.
