About Position:As a QA Engineer, you’ll play a key role in developing and maintaining some of our legacy applications. The ideal candidate will have experience with test automation creation and maintenance, strong problem-solving abilities, and a desire to join a mission-oriented team. Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to build and maintain automated test suites, learn new frameworks as needed, and deliver high quality releases.Role: Sr. QA Engineer Location: Pune Experience: 7 to 9 Years Job Type: Full Time EmploymentWhat You'll Do:Ensure that the team releases high quality software with very few production incidents. Create, execute and maintain regression test suites for manual and automated suites, with a primary focus on automated tests. Ensure satisfactory feature coverage, including considering risky technical areas and performance concerns. Leverage AI daily to drive personnel and team efficiencies. An engaged team player who is willing to try new things, collaborate freely and transparently, and learn from their experiences and the experiences of others. Oversees group execution when others contribute to QA efforts. Engages in Story refining to flush out details, test scenarios, risks, and ultimately formulate reliable QA estimates. Capable of performing QA on multiple ongoing projects. Provides feedback in planning on improving the quality and testability of features. Makes strategy-driven choices on what not to test to provide more QA leverage.Expertise You'll Bring:Minimum 5 + years proven experience as a QA Engineer or a similar role in software testing. Experience with reviving old, writing new and maintaining existing automated test suites. Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes. Ability to identify critical path scenarios and prioritize test cases. Solid analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail and documentation. Strong communication skills, resourceful, and able to collaborate in a fast-paced environment. Experience with test case management tools (e.g. TestRail, qTest) and test automation frameworks (e.g. Selenium, Cypress, Playwright). Experience with reducing regression testing by writing automated tests (API or browser) each sprint. Experience with using AI to drive efficiencies in their role.
