Experience: 6 to 9Years Location: Chennai Notice Period: Immediate to 30days Inviting applications for the role of Consultant - Senior Linux Administrator We are looking for an experienced Senior Linux Administrator to manage and maintain Linux-based systems and infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have extensive expertise in troubleshooting, virtualization, and automation, along with a proven track record of optimizing system performance. Responsibilities: • Administer and maintain Linux servers and workstations across multiple environments. • Troubleshoot complex system and network issues efficiently. • Manage virtualization platforms like VMware, KVM, or Hyper-V. • Automate processes using advanced scripting (Bash, Python, Perl). • Monitor system performance using tools like Nagios, Prometheus, or Grafana. • Implement security measures and conduct regular audits. • Perform system backups, recovery, and migrations. • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless operations. • Document system configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting steps. Minimum qualifications / Skills • Bachelor’s degree in business, computer science or “STEM” Majors (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math) or equivalent. • Expertise in Linux distributions (e.g., Ubuntu, CentOS, Red Hat). • Advanced knowledge of virtualization technologies. • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills. • Proficiency in network protocols and firewall configurations. • Familiarity with configuration management tools like Ansible or Puppet. Preferred qualifications / Skills • Proven experience working in a role involving • RHCE (Red Hat Certified Engineer) or LFCE (Linux Foundation Certified Engineer). • Experience in Devops Tools like Jenkins, Kubernetes, VMWare would be an added advantage
