You should be able to implement industry research papers as well as come up with proprietary research in the generative media domain, specifically speech synthesis.Ideal candidate will hold a Ph.D. in AI or Computer Science or Electrical Engineering with a specialization in Audio, Speech, Signal Processing, or related fields with 3+ years of additional relevant work experience.Roles & Responsibilities:Designing and developing new algorithms for media synthesis, speech recognition, speech enhancement, filler word detection, etcWrite performant and clean code for ML trainingIndependently run and analyze ML experiments to diagnose problems and understand which changes are real improvementsWrite clean non-ML code, for example when building interfaces to let workers interact with our models or pipelines for managing human dataCollaborate closely with a small team to balance the need for flexibility and iteration speed in research with the need for stability and reliability in a complex long-lived projectUnderstand our high-level research roadmap to help plan and prioritize future experimentsCreating realistic voice-doubles using only a few minutes of audioDevising and implementing fast and robust algorithms for spectrogram inversionComing up with new research directions to improve our productSkills & Qualifications:Proven experience in implementing and iterating on deep learning algorithmsPublications at top ML/Speech conferences are a big plus: NeurIPS, ICML, ICLR, Interspeech, ICASSP etc. and/or leading Journals published by IEEE, ACM, Springer, Elsevier etc.Strong knowledge and experience of Python, PyTorch, KaldiProven ability to conduct original research and first principles problem solving Benefits/Perks:Collaborative and stimulating work environmentOpportunity to work with cutting-edge technologies and make a significant impact in the field of generative audio AIInsurance/healthcare coverage as per company policyLeaves available as per company policyWhy Murf.ai?Murf AI is revolutionizing creative workflows for businesses through the utilization of our cutting-edge AI technology.
