You will be instrumental in delivering a robust accounting curriculum grounded in real-world business contexts, financial reasoning, and global accounting standards.ResponsibilitiesTeachCambridge AS and A Level Accounting (9706)curriculum with a focus on: Financial Accounting Cost & Management Accounting Business Mergers & Acquisitions Budgeting, Standard Costing, and Investment Appraisal Accounting Ethics and Regulatory Frameworks Prepare students for: Paper 1 (Multiple Choice) Paper 2 (Fundamentals of Accounting) Paper 3 (Financial Accounting) Paper 4 (Cost and Management Accounting) Design lesson plans, teaching materials, and assessments based onCambridge standards and international accounting practices . Deliver conceptual clarity in topics such asratios, income statements, partnership accounting, activity-based costing, and IAS applications . Provideindividual mentoring and academic supportto students aiming for university studies in finance, accounting, and business. Integrate digital tools and data interpretation techniques into classroom learning. Participate in school-wide planning, co-curricular activities, and professional development programs.QualificationsBachelor’s or Master’s Degree inAccounting, Commerce, Finance , or related field. Minimum2 years of teaching experienceinCambridge A Level Accounting (9706)or equivalent international curriculum. Strong foundation inInternational Accounting Standards (IAS) , GAAP principles, and financial reporting formats. Demonstrated ability to explain advanced topics likeinvestment ratios, cost-volume-profit analysis, and IFRS practices . Excellent communication, analytical, and classroom management skills.PreferredCambridgeProfessional Development Qualification (PDQ)or equivalent training in teaching A Levels. Experience preparing students forexams with international benchmarks . Ability to coach students in real-life applications of accounting (e.g., school-based enterprise or investment simulations).
