About the role As an Interior Designer, you will play a key role in leading and managing interior design projects from concept to completion. Leveraging your extensive experience and expertise in interior design, you will collaborate with brands, architects, and other stakeholders to deliver innovative, functional, and aesthetically pleasing interior spaces. Design Conceptualization and Development • Lead the conceptualization and development of design concepts, ensuring they align with the vision, brand identity, and project goals. • Create mood boards, sketches, renderings, and presentations to communicate design ideas effectively to project stakeholders. • Collaborate with architects, engineers, and other design professionals to integrate interior design elements seamlessly into the overall project. 2. Space Planning and Layout Design: • Conduct site evaluations and space assessments to understand spatial requirements and constraints. • Develop efficient and creative space plans, floor plans, and furniture layouts that optimize functionality, flow, and user experience. • Select and specify furniture, fixtures, finishes, and equipment (FF&E) that complement the design concept while meeting project requirements and budgetary constraints. 3. Material and Finish Selection: • Research and select high-quality materials, finishes, textiles, and decorative elements that enhance the aesthetic appeal and functionality of interior spaces. • Coordinate with vendors, suppliers, and manufacturers to procure materials and finishes and ensure timely delivery and installation. 4. Technical Documentation: • Produce detailed technical drawings, specifications, and documentation sets (including construction drawings, millwork details, and schedules) using industry-standard software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp). • Review and approve shop drawings, samples, and mock-ups to ensure compliance with design intent, quality standards, and specifications. 5. Project Management: • Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and according to quality standards. • Develop project schedules, budgets, and resource plans in collaboration with project teams and stakeholders. • Coordinate with contractors, subcontractors, and vendors to facilitate the execution and installation of design elements. • Conduct regular site visits and inspections to monitor progress, address issues, and ensure adherence to design specifications and construction standards.What You Bring To The Table • Proven experience of 4 to 10 years in interior design project management, with a focus on uber luxury residential, commercial and hospitality projects. • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with brands, stakeholders, and team members. • Solid understanding of design principles, materials, and construction techniques • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining high-quality standards and meeting deadlines.
