Job Position - Accessibility Tester Location - Mumbai / Kolkata / Noida / Remote We are looking for immediate joiners. Summary: We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented PDF and Word Document Remediation Candidate with 1–3 years of experience in accessibility remediation. The ideal candidate should have a foundational understanding of accessibility standards such as WCAG, PDF/UA, and Section 508, and experience working with tools like Adobe Acrobat, Microsoft Office, and PAC. Familiarity with PowerPoint and Excel remediation is a plus. This role requires a proactive individual who is eager to learn, contribute to high-quality deliverables, and grow within a collaborative team. Responsibilities: Support end-to-end remediation of PDF and Word documents, ensuring accuracy and timely delivery. Perform accessibility checks using tools such as PAC, Adobe Acrobat Pro, and screen readers like JAWS or NVDA. Verify key accessibility elements: reading order, alt text, headings, tables, bookmarks, TOC, hyperlinks, lists, forms, and document metadata. Document and communicate accessibility issues clearly and concisely. Share testing results and feedback with peers and teams to facilitate effective remediation. Remediate documents to meet accessibility standards (PDF/UA, WCAG 2.1, Section 508). Collaborate with team members on accessibility best practices and continuously improve remediation skills. Contribute to resolving accessibility challenges with support from senior team members. Stay informed about evolving accessibility standards and tools. Required Skills: 1–3 years of hands-on experience in document remediation, especially PDFs and Word files. Working knowledge of WCAG 2.1, Section 508, and PDF/UA compliance. Experience using Adobe Acrobat Pro and Microsoft Office tools for accessibility remediation. Familiarity with accessibility testing tools (PAC, Acrobat) and assistive technologies (JAWS, NVDA). Strong attention to detail, problem-solving abilities, and commitment to producing high-quality work. Good communication skills for coordination and reporting within a team environment. Eagerness to learn and grow in the field of digital accessibility.
