About the Role: We are looking for aSourcing & Procurement Headwho will be responsible for ensuring timely sourcing, efficient vendor management, accurate inventory planning, and cost-effective product development. The ideal candidate will be process-driven, detail-oriented, and have a strong background in managing procurement operations in a structured environment.Key Responsibilities:Sourcing & Procurement Ensure timely procurement of materials in line with production requirements Prepare and process purchase/work orders as per SOP and authorization matrix Manage replacements for rejected materials efficiently Ensure proper reconciliation and compliance for job work procurement Coordinate with cross-functional teams to align on procurement needs Negotiate prices and specifications with vendors for contracts and servicesVendor Management & Development Conduct financial and performance evaluation of vendors to assess risk and capability Maintain vendor evaluation records and ensure regular performance reviews Identify and onboard new or alternative vendors based on business requirementsInventory Management Monitor inventory levels and ensure stock accuracy for improved planningProduct DevelopmentSupport development of alternative products that enhance quality and reduce costMIS & ReportingRespond promptly to procurement-related queries from other departments Generate MIS reports covering key procurement metrics, POs, inventory, trends, etc. Drive procurement automation for better efficiency and transparencyDesired Profile :BE/B.Tech from Tier 1 College with min 12+ years experience Raw Material Procurement. Industry - understands petrochemical value chain + commercials.
