Job Title: Director – Banking & Fundraising Operations Type: Equity-based with performance-linked remuneration Equity Offered: 10% Bonus: 1% extra dividend per fund closure Post-Closure Package: Up to ₹2,00,000/month + Bonus About the Company BLACKBULL is a high-growth startup positioned at the intersection of asset-based Finance and the Legal tech industry, in which we are preparing for aggressive market expansion and strategic fundraising. We are seeking an experienced, dynamic, and entrepreneurial Director of Banking & Fundraising Operations to lead our capital acquisition and financial strategy from the ground up. Role Overview The Director of Banking & Fundraising Operations will be responsible for strategizing, executing, and managing all fundraising initiatives — from Seed to Series rounds — by leveraging both equity and asset/security-backed instruments. This is a core leadership role that directly impacts company valuation and market presence. Key Responsibilities Fundraising Strategy & Execution Develop and execute fundraising strategies for pre-seed, seed, and Series A/B/C+ rounds. Identify and engage with venture capitalists, private equity firms, HNIs, family offices, and institutional investors. Lead end-to-end deal-making — from investor pitching to closure. Asset & Security-Based Structuring Design innovative financing models backed by company assets, future revenues, or intellectual property. Negotiate structured financing and investment terms that align with company goals. Banking & Investment Operations Build and manage relationships with banking partners, NBFCs, and financial institutions. Set up and oversee banking, escrow, and treasury management systems aligned with funding needs. Investor Relations & Compliance Develop compelling investment decks and financial models. Maintain transparent communication and reporting systems for stakeholders. Ensure compliance with financial, legal, and regulatory frameworks. Team Leadership Build and lead a small but high-impact fundraising and finance operations team. Collaborate with CFO/CEO and Board on fundraising roadmaps and investor strategies. Compensation & Benefits Equity: 10% ownership stake vested over agreed terms. Dividends: An Additional 1% dividend bonus per fund closure. Post-Closure Salary: Upon successful closure of one fundraising round, a monthly salary of up to ₹2,00,000 + performance-based bonuses will be offered. Performance Bonus: Additional monetary and non-monetary rewards tied to KPIs and funding milestones. Qualifications Minimum 8–10 years in fundraising, banking, investment management, or corporate finance. Proven track record of closing fundraising rounds (Seed to Series B or beyond). Strong network with institutional investors, VCs, and HNIs. Expertise in securities, equity structuring, and asset-backed financing. MBA/CA/CFA or relevant finance/investment qualification preferred. Ideal Candidate Profile Entrepreneurial mindset with hands-on execution capabilities. Strong negotiation, analytical, and financial modeling skills. Ability to thrive in a startup environment and lead from the front. Strategic thinker who understands market sentiment and capital flow dynamics.
