Our team in India plays a pivotal role in helping the company transition to new ways of working by redefining the food and grocery shopping experience for over 4.6 million customers.Job Responsibilities:Overseeing the entire procurement process from initial requisition to final delivery, ensuring efficiency and cost-effectivenessIdentifying and evaluating potential suppliers, building relationships, and managing existing supplier baseNegotiating favorable terms with suppliers, onboarding vendors and managing purchase orders, ensuring adherence to contractual obligations.Work with Legal team and vendor to review, negotiate and execute contractsCollaborate with both India and US teams to achieve procurement goals,Working closely with internal stakeholders, such IT, Finance, HR on procurement needs for the Giant Eagle India office to ensure smooth procurement operations.Maintain vendor, item/service specific details, including order schedules, delivery schedules, Payment schedules etc.Perform ongoing assessments of procurement initiatives which include measurement of service levels of the vendor.Contract and renewal managementRequired Skills and Qualifications:Experience Required: 3 to 5 yearsEducation Desired: Bachelor’s DegreeExperience supporting cross-functional teams.Ability to manage multiple projects and changing priorities.Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact with both internal and external stakeholders.Ability to navigate and manage cross-functional relationships.
